The weather on rallye-day was fantastic as it was a warm sunny summer’s day. Luckily, our Citroen dealt really well with no fractures and the heat so that we had a perfect drive without any technical issues. For this , we should have awarded our green automobile a medal. It was so much fun driving it through the Bergisches Land across the trail.
Allez, tout le monde vient vite! La grenouille est de retour! Oh yes, there we were with our French, green frog. After we had dropped for this particular rallye last year (you may read past year’s post here)we couldn’wont wait to participate in this Radisson Rhein-Ruhr-Rallye, that happened on the 24th of August 2019, back again. Somehow, we especially enjoy this rallye since all participants are so nice, the cars are fantastic, the group that plans everything out of the roadbook into the course, does a wonderful job and the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel at Düsseldorf* flawlessly takes care of all the remainder – from breakfast to the party during the night.

How do you like our impressions from the rallye and have you taken part in a oldtimer-rallye yourself? We’d like to see about it!
This is the way a rallye could proceed, so fingers crossed this rallye will occur again since if it does, we will surely be a part of it !
Different from last year, we knew what we were up to this year. We understood what we’re supposed to do, what tasks guided us and how to cope with them. There was anxiety and Max and I had been a fantastic team, again. And since we had a lot of fun last 12, doing so rallye , we couldn’t wait for this year’s to get started.
