My Favorite Green Smoothie

My husband works evenings, so making breakfast is easier than dinner for me since he could hold the infant. Obtaining my greens in ancient makes it simpler when all I handle for lunch would be trail mix some days.
Now that we’re home my entire body is happy to be back to the green smoothie wagon. It took me a while to approve of the idea at first, but that I ’theres a convert. While I still love me some green juice, a smoothie is more faster.
Spinach or chard (eliminate the stems) work great in green smoothies since their leaves are still tender, but I still really like the grassy flavor of kale, too. I mix them together. Orange is listed by the recipe, however I used two satsumas from the photo. It s smoothie, maybe not a souffle. Get creative!

My beloved Green Smoothie
So many substitutions are possible, and dimensions are approximate. Here is the assumption for my typical morning smoothie.

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 cups spinach or mix of spinach and spinach
